What do I wear? Shoes without heels (eg joggers, Dunlops) or just bare feet. Comfortable (loose fitting) clothes. Sunscreen and a hat are also recommended.
What about a set of bowls? We have sets available.
What if I can't make those days? No problem. Get in touch and we'll arrange a separate time for you.
Why Lawn Bowls?
- A great social and team sport, played year-round
Lots of opportunities for young bowlers
ACT championships, representative matches
Can I get coaching? For sure. We are happy to arrange further coaching if you decide you want to take it up.
Isn't bowls just for old folks? It's for all ages, but like all sports, younger players excel. Many of the best bowlers at national and ACT representative level are in their 20s.
How do I register? Just e-mail us at ccbowls@pcug.org.au with your name, age, gender, phone number and preferred date(s)
