“FABULOUS FIJI” TERMS AND CONDITIONS
The promoter of FABULOUS FIJI is The Ainslie Football & Social Club Ltd, ABN 17 102 364 321, ACN 102 364 321.
1. Information on how to enter form part of the terms and conditions of entry
2. Fabulous Fiji is a memberÂ’s only promotion. Entry is open to all current financial members of Ainslie Football and Social Club Ltd incorporating Gungahlin Lakes Golf and Community Club and The Canberra City Bowling Club.
3. The total prize value of Fabulous Fiji is $21,560 per site, which includes eight (8) holidays for two people valued at approx. $3,890 each plus $1,500 in spending money per trip won, totaling $6,000 per site if the winner is present on the night of the draw as per clause 23. Four (4) holidays to be won at Ainslie Football & Social Club and four (4) at Gungahlin Lakes Golf & Community Club.
4. Fabulous Fiji commences on Monday 17th March 2008 and concludes on Sunday 18th May 2008, with the major draw dates as follows:
· Draw 1: Sunday 6th April 2008
- Draw 2: Sunday 20th April 2008
- Draw 3: Sunday 4th May 2008
- Draw 4: Sunday 18th May 2008
5. Prizewinners must be current financial members of Ainslie Football & Social Club Ltd at the time of the draw.
6. Prizewinners must produce their valid Ainslie Football & Social Club membership card to claim their prize along with a photographed identification card.
7. Ainslie Football & Social ClubÂ’s Committee, Management, Staff and their immediate families are not permitted to enter the promotion and as such ineligible to win the major prize.
8. Ainslie Football & Social Club contractors including the employees of contractors and their immediate families (parents, siblings, spouse, children & in laws) are not permitted to enter the promotion and as such are ineligible to win the major prize.
9. The promoter reserves the right to revoke the major prize if they find evidence that the major prize winner was involved in any tampering or fraudulent activity in relation to them receiving entries into the major barrel they were not entitled to.
10. In the event the promoter deems that tampering or fraudulent activity has occurred the winning ticket will be deemed void and another winner will be drawn.
11. In the event major prizes are unclaimed within a 3-month period from the date of their corresponding major draw the winning drawn tickets will be deemed invalid and a redraw will be conducted. The redraw will occur on Sunday 18th August 2008.
12. The General Manager or his representativeÂ’s decision on any dispute will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
13. All entry tickets will remain in the barrel for the duration of the Promotion. To gain entry into the major draw barrel the following occurs: Ten (10) Tickets will be selected every hour from the Turbo Bonus Random Ticket Generator to gain entry into the major draw barrel for a chance to win the major prize.
14. Participants gain entry into the random ticket generator through conducting the following activities at any of the participating venues.
- The purchase of any Restaurant or Coffee Shop Item (excludes Canberra City Bowling Club)
- The purchase of any beverage product at all participating venues.
- Swiping an Ainslie Football & Social Club Ltd Membership card through the Wildcard Foyer Machine located at all participating venues.
- Joining or renewing membership at the Club
- Playing poker machines with an Ainslie Football & Social Club Ltd Membership card entered into the promotional console at all participating venues. Tickets produced as a result of poker machine play are generated into the ticket spitter randomly.
15. All Canberra City Bowling Club entries are automatically generated into the Turbo Bonus Random Ticket Generator at The Ainslie Football Club.
16. The promoter takes no responsibility for any lost or misdirected entries.
17. All members who receive entry into the major draw barrel will be notified by mail prior to the major draw notifying them of their entry.
18. The major prize winners will be notified:
- By phone
- By official correspondence and
- Be published in the Canberra Times Public Notices, Thursday 22nd May 2008.
19. Draw Location - Ainslie Football & Social Club, 52 Wakefield Avenue Ainslie, ACT 2602 & Gungahlin Lakes Golf & Community Club Cnr Gundaroo Rd and Gungahlin Drive Nicholls, ACT 2913.
20. Prizewinners do not need to be present at the time of the draw to claim the major prize. If the winning member is present they will receive a present bonus of $1,500.00.
21. In the event a member is present at one of the participating Clubs and their name is called out for the major prize at the other, that member will still be deemed present and eligible for the $1,500.00. The winning member will be required to produce their valid Ainslie Football & Social Club membership card to the promotional staff present in the Club.
This point covers the following scenarios:
· If the prizewinner drawn at Gungahlin Lakes is present at the time of the major draw at Ainslie Football & Social Club or The Canberra City Bowling Club they are still deemed present and eligible for the present bonus.
· If the prizewinner drawn at Ainslie Football & Social Club is present at the time of the major draw at Gungahlin Lakes or The Canberra City Bowling Club they are still deemed present and eligible for the present bonus.
22. At the time of the major draw a phone link will be established between sites to inform each club of the winning members followed by internal announcements identifying the major prizewinners. Both major prizewinners names will be announced at all three participating sites.
23. In the event that the prizewinner is not present at any of the participating venues the present bonus of $1,500 will be dispersed in three lots of $500.00. The draws will be conducted from the random ticket generator. If required these $500.00 cash draws will be conducted at 8.30pm, 9.30pm and 10.30pm. The random ticket generator barrel is to be emptied at 8.00pm (After the major draw) and then every hour on the hour after the hourly draws. No extra cash draws will be conducted at CCBC.
24. In the event that the major prizewinner drawn at Gungahlin Lakes is present at any one of our three clubs (Ainslie Football & Social Club, Canberra City Bowling Club or Gungahlin Lakes) and produce their valid membership card they will be deemed present and awarded the $1,500 present bonus in full. Subsequently, the present bonus draws will not be divided into three and dispersed at Gungahlin Lakes.
25. In the event that the major prizewinner drawn at Ainslie Football & Social Club is present at any one of our three clubs (Gungahlin Lakes, Canberra City Bowling Club or Ainslie Football & Social Club) and produce their valid membership card they will be deemed present and awarded the $1,500 present bonus in full. Subsequently, the present bonus draws will not be divided into three and dispersed at Ainslie Football & Social Club.
26. No bonus cash draws will be conducted at Canberra City Bowling Club.
27. The one member is only permitted to win one of the major prizes on any given major draw night. In the event the same member is drawn out for the major prize at both Ainslie Football & Social Club and Gungahlin Lakes, a redraw will be conducted at the club furthest from where the individual resides.
28. The Holiday departs from Canberra for Sydney to Nada, back to Sydney and then home to Canberra for two people traveling economy. Coach transfers are included from the airport to the hotel and then from the hotel back to the airport. Holiday winners will be staying at the Hideaway Resort for 7 nights. The holiday must be taken in October 2008, however is subject to availability. The holiday is not exchangeable for cash however is transferable ie: may be sold or given away.
29. The itinerary is set at the discretion of the promoter and is not negotiable.
30. All air travel (economy class), transfers and accommodation costs are included in the prize.
31. All other costs incurred on the trip are the responsibility of the prizewinner.
32. The holiday prize is not transferable, redeemable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash.
33. No compensation is due to prizewinners who cannot attend the trip for whatever reason.
34. Force Majeure: No party shall be liable for any failure to perform its obligations in connection with any action described in this agreement, if such failure results from any act of God, riot, war, civil unrest, flood, earthquake or other cause beyond such partyÂ’s reasonable control.
35. If clause 34 applies Ainslie Football and Social Club Ltd at its sole discretion will determine a subsequent holiday destination.
36. The promoter shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) for personal injury which is suffered or sustained as a result of taking the prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law. It is a condition of accepting the prize that the winner may be required to sign a legal release in a form determined by the promoter in its absolute discretion.
37. All entries become the property of the promoter. The collection, use and disclosure of personal information provided in connection with this promotion is governed by the Ainslie Football & Social Club Ltd Privacy Policy available on www.ainsliefc.com
